DESCRIPTION: DEX-128 is a liquid epoxy resin with a medium viscosity produced from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. It does not contain any diluents. DEX-128 has the ability to wet pigments well and resist filler settling, and provides high levels of mechanical and chemical resistance properties when cured. However, as an unmodified pure bisphenol A resin, DEX-128 can crystallize during storage, especially in cold conditions.
APPLICATIONS: DEX-128 is commonly used in various industries such as electrical and electronic industries for potting, casting, and impregnating; building and civil engineering industries for floorings, adhesives, mortars, and grouts; and filament winding for composites. It is also ideal for solvent-free and high-solids coatings.
